What Customers Say About Spider-Man: Web of Shadows:

A good game to pick up now and again. And the storyline is cool too. But, the gameplay is fun, even though it's short.

I know there are 2 levels of play, and I chose easy, but they still load you up with a ton of power-ups that I can't imagine hard being terribly difficult. I can see the replay value in it, but only if you've got nothing else to do. This game wasn't much of a challenge.

You can build up your black suit/red suit personae, but after you beat the game once, this isn't much of a motivating factor to replay. Not for heavy gaming. Also, it's a pretty short game.

I beat it pretty quickly.

I really like shopping on amazon.com The game is great and I got everything on time.

1 thumb down. The left to right only screen action makes me feel like I was playing an old ATARI game. 2-d game play. VERY disappointed that a "new game" would come out in the year 2008 and be in 2-d.

All in all, if you own a PSP and are a Spidey fan, Web of Shadows is worth a rental and nothing more. While there is a degree of fun to be had, Web of Shadows does get pretty boring after a while, especially considering that it doesn't take you long to see what all the game has to offer, which the PSP version has little. Still, the game doesn't look or sound bad one bit, and there is a decent amount of power-up's and unlockables to find, plus the game's story is fun and makes good use of Spidey and his supporting cast of allies and villains. Spider-Man: Web of Shadows for the PSP plays pretty much like the PS2 version of the game; note the subtitle that reads Amazing Allies Edition. If you're craving another open-world Spidey adventure though, you won't find it here. Yeah, it's the 16-bit era of superhero video games all over again, and things haven't changed much either as you'll find here. Instead of using the tried & true open world New York City playing style that has been implemented since Spider-Man 2 (and is used on the other versions of Web of Shadows), this PSP version is a 2-D side scroller-ish beat 'em up. You play as Spidey, pick up various power-up's, have an occasional team-up with some fellow Marvel heroes, and take down hordes upon hordes of bland baddies and the occasional boss as well.

but other then that this game was a big disappointment I wish I wouldn't have bought it I will sell it tomorrow Its cool the fact that you can get 15 Heroes/Villians.
